Next Wednesday, November 30th, marks 12 years I've been selling with Etsy. There have been so many changes, like most companies, with a relatively new company. And while some have been difficult (like them upping their fees) and the fact that vintage and the love for vintage has exploded in the last decade (which makes competition fierce), most of it has been a fantastic experience. I get to do what I love every day. Finding vintage and connecting it with people who need these unique pieces in their lives is like nothing else. Sourcing the goods -- AKA treasure hunting-- never gets old. Every day is an adventure and with it comes surprises and incredible finds at every estate sale or thrift store. So as we prepare for Thanksgiving tomorrow, know how grateful I am for you. Your continued support allows me to keep doing not just something I like but have an undivided passion for. I'm sure I mention this every year, but by the time September 1st rolls around here in Northern California, we are beyond ready to bring in the cool, the breezes, and get rid of the heat. We are set to be in the 105+ degrees weather for the next eight days. Fall can't get here soon enough. However, if the weather won't cooperate, then I work on bringing in the fall mentally.  Fall is my favorite season which means the vintage clothing I stock my shop with also resembles clothing you'd find yourself in at a pumpkin farm, on a hay ride, walking in a pile of leaves... you know. Spring is around the corner. And for us in the Northern part of California, Spring has decided to unleash her beauty... last week.  The trees are blooming and all is beautiful, except for the overwhelming need for allergy medicine.
