Floral Spring Dress by eshakti

Have you heard of eshakti? If you haven't, you need to. This company makes clothing -- and in particular incredible dresses -- that are custom fitted to you. Yes, your size. Every curve, every extra length, every extra edge or finicky part of you that needs some love, they fix this by tailoring it to ...  ready for this -- to you. What a concept, right? Clothes you buy can actually fit you!

For me, long sleeves shirts tend to be too short on me. I have long arms. I also have long legs, so for skirts that I want longer, they can customize them to me so that I get the skirt the exact length I want.

This gorgeous tunic -- which can be worn as a blouse with leggings, or as I did as a dress -- was made to fit me. And it fits perfectly.

Visit eshakti today. Once you've ordered from them, you'll wonder why you're not buying all your clothes from them. Tailor-made clothing is a luxury, and with eshakti, it's now a luxury you can afford.

Perennial Vintage Turns Ten

Winter Sweaters in the Shop It's hard to believe for me, but on November 30th, 2010 I began my foray into the world of Etsy vintage. A lot has changed since then. And I don't mean just in the world. I mean in Etsy itself. When I opened shop a decade ago, there were so few sellers compared to now, and things sold much faster because there was such little competition. But competition is good. It makes us more creative and promotes grit: both of which are necessary for growth and success. And I have to say, this has been THE MOST creative, fun, rewarding, and exciting work I've ever had. I took a hobby and learned to make a little profit from it on the side. Even though this is a business for me now, selling vintage is still my hobby. While it's nice to monetarily benefit from it, it isn't the only reason I do it. The reason I sell vintage is simple: I love vintage.  I want to preserve it, research it, wear it, love it, talk about it, and naturally, I want to sell  i

Sweet Water Decor │ Hand Crafted Wall Art │ Etsy

You have heard of Etsy, right? They're the online site that hosts thousands of small companies who sell hand made items or vintage items.  I sell on Etsy (vintage) and I know how amazing Etsy and all the shops and stores are. There's a lot of hard work and love that go into running one of these stores. So, imagine my joy when I stumbled upon this little shop called Sweet Water Decor. Sweet Water Decor creates hand designed wedding invitations, coffee mugs, stamps and wall art. And when I saw these adorable designs -- ones that fit perfectly in my son's bedroom -- I had to have them. This is what Sweet Water Decor says about their prints. "Our printable art is a great way to have an inexpensive print that is a final touch to a desk, bedroom, kid's room, nursery, or anywhere around the house. It's a constant motivational pick-me-up every time you look at it. What's great about our print art is that you can purchase it today and print it out, add a f

It's a Cruel Summer

This year has been far from ordinary. With COVID-19 going on strong for nearly six months, and nothing operating "normally" like it use to, now Northern California has wildfires to contend with -- right after emerging from a heat wave from hell. (112 degrees is no joke.) Vintage Wool Sweaters The fires are still a ways away, but that doesn't keep ash from blowing over thirty miles from the ignition spot and into the entire Sacramento region, blocking the sun, inhibiting proper breathing, and giving us even less outdoor time than before. Regardless, such is life. And when it rains (proverbially), by golly, it pours. The good news is I can now get back to thrifting (it was a joyous day about two months ago when we were allowed back in) and back into buying and selling vintage again. Lately, the finds have been awesome. It may be because there was a lack of buying from me for so many months, or because everyone went through their houses from top to bottom, due to the Corona
